Latest UK EuroMillions Winner Picks Up £83 Million

Updated: Monday 27th January 2025
We have our first EuroMillions jackpot of 2025 - and it goes to a single winning ticket from the UK, after an exciting draw took place on Friday night.
What happened?
The seventh EuroMillions draw of the year saw the first jackpot win since 27th December 2024 (where a Spanish player pocketed €41 million)! The top prize has kept rising since then to almost €100 million.
This prize will be converted to pounds for the UK winner who has now suddenly become one of the richest people in the country overnight!
The winning numbers for the draw came out as 2, 11, 19, 30 and 49 with two Lucky Stars 3 and 8. While only one player matched all seven numbers - it was a huge night of significant wins across Europe.
Incredibly, a total of nine players matched five numbers and one Lucky Star - just missing out on the jackpot, but still splitting an impressive £66,000 (or €92,865). The winning players came from France, Spain, Belgium, and Austria.
In total there were 2,371,639 winners across the continent - but it is in the UK where the big story lies.
What next for the UK Jackpot Holder?
We will now have to wait and see if the winner comes forward and reveals their identity - or chooses to keep it a secret.
A lot of bigger winners decide to remain anonymous, but we have had some incredible UK stories told by people who have wanted to announce their wins. Such as the UK couple Joe and Jess Thwaite who won a staggering £184 million on May 10th 2022.
The winner now has 180 days to claim their prize, we hope it doesn’t end up that they miss out on their money because they didn't check their tickets properly - Use our checker to make sure this isn’t you!
A Great Start to 2025 for EuroMillions
It's fair to say EuroMillions in 2025 has got off to a flying start - with the recent announcement of an upcoming EuroMillions Superdraw in March 2025, an NHS worker recently becoming a millionaire from the UK Millionaire Maker raffle, and now this latest jackpot win!
Who knows what will happen for the rest of the year! All we know for now is that the EuroMillions top prize resets €17 million (£14 million) for Tuesday's draw. There’s two draws every week (Tuesday and Friday), play online to see if you're the next lucky winner!
