Final Week To Claim for Birmingham EuroMillions Winner

Final Week To Claim for Birmingham EuroMillions Winner
Updated: Thursday 5th February 2026

A £1 million EuroMillions prize is in danger of going unclaimed, with just a few days left for the winner to come forward. Find out more about the mystery prize and what happens to any cash reward that is not claimed in time.

All National Lottery prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the relevant draw. The majority of time this happens without any hiccups, even for the biggest jackpots, when lucky players check their tickets and claim accordingly

Occasionally, though, winning ticket holders fail to stake a claim in time. The next major prize that might slip away is the £1 million that was won in the Millionaire Maker on 15th August 2025. The deadline for claiming is Wednesday 11th February.

The winning raffle code for the Millionaire Maker on 15th August was VLPL 28287, and the all-important ticket was sold in Birmingham. National Lottery bosses have issued a last-ditch appeal for players to check any old tickets.

Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at Allwyn, the operator of the National Lottery, said: “Were you in or around Birmingham in the week leading up to the 15 August draw? Maybe it isn’t even a local winner – did you visit the area for the day and play Lotto – did you return home and stash it somewhere safe? Have a think back to what you were doing on that date, as I want nothing more than to unite the winner with their prize money. Tell your friends, check your pockets, check your tickets as it could be you!”

If the prize remains unclaimed, it will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK. The same is true of any unclaimed prize - big or small - plus all the interest generated. To date, the National Lottery has helped to raise more than £52 billion for good causes since it was established in 1994.

Go to the Unclaimed Prizes page to see a table of all the major prizes that are still waiting to be paid out, including details of when and where they were won, and the final date to claim.

EuroMillions Jackpot Rising Again

On Friday 30th January, the EuroMillions jackpot was won for the first time this year. UK players missed out this time as the £107 million jackpot went to someone from Belgium, but it was still a great night for the 641,521 participants who picked up prizes in the other 12 categories.

The jackpot rolled over on Tuesday night to reach £25 million, and it will soon be boosted back up to approximately £110 million (converted from €130 million) for the first Superdraw of 2026

EuroMillions draws continue every Tuesday and Friday night, so make sure to take part by buying a ticket from a local retailer or choosing your numbers online. Once the draw is over, check your tickets to ensure that you don’t miss out on any prizes.
