Confirmed! First EuroMillions Superdraw of 2026 Scheduled
Whether you're a regular EuroMillions player or just every now and again, you're going to want to make a note of this date, as the first Superdraw of 2026 has been confirmed. These special bumper draws boost the jackpot to nine figures regardless of the previous jackpot value. Read on for more info.
When is the next EuroMillions Superdraw?
There are typically around five EuroMillions Superdraws held each year, and this upcoming event is due to take place on February 20th, a Friday. For reference, the last Superdraw was held on December 5th, 2025. In some circumstances (which we'll explain shortly), Superdraws end up being postponed, so it's not guaranteed to go ahead that day, but it most likely will.
What is a Superdraw, and how do they work?
If you're unfamiliar with Superdraws, they're very simple in essence. Superdraws are when the EuroMillions jackpot is instantly boosted to €130 million (approximately £110 million) regardless of how low the jackpot for the previous draw was. If on the day of the Superdraw the jackpot is already above €130 million, then the draw proceeds as normal and the Superdraw is rescheduled for the near future.
Aside from the boosted jackpot, all other aspects of the draw are the same as usual, so it won't affect how you play - just what you stand to win!
What are the odds of winning a Superdraw?
The odds of winning a EuroMillions Superdraw are the same as winning any other EuroMillions jackpot: 1 in 139,838,160. However, Superdraws tend to attract more players. This means that the odds of multiple players winning the jackpot (and having to share the prize) increase. The odds of winning limited-prize raffles such as the National Lottery's Millionaire Maker also decrease, since more players are competing for the same prize. These apply to every big jackpot draw, not just Superdraws, so don't let it put you off.
How to Get Involved
If you're looking to test your luck and think this might be 'the big one', head to a National Lottery retailer before the draw takes place and get a ticket for Friday. You can also use the National Lottery app to play in advance. If you're looking for alternative ways to play, head to our Tickets Page, as nowadays it's possible to participate online even if you're residing outside of a EuroMillions member state. Neat!
