Friday night’s EuroMillions winner came from the German-speaking area of Switzerland and became the second of their compatriots to claim the top prize in just over three months. A Zurich resident claimed the country’s biggest ever jackpot, worth £119.8 million, on Tuesday 19th December 2017.

Friday’s winning numbers were 1, 29, 33, 45 and 47 with Lucky Stars 4 and 8, and nearly 2 million players collected prizes across the continent. The biggest UK winners were the two players who matched the Millionaire Maker codes to bank £1 million each.

More EuroMillions Excitement to Come

Friday’s EuroMillions win doesn’t stop the game offering amazing opportunities to win. Not only does Tuesday night’s draw offer a decent £14 million jackpot, with two more opportunities to pick up £1 million in the supplementary raffle, but Friday’s draw will guarantee to create 13 UK millionaires.

Instead of the usual two Millionaire Maker prizes, the UK National Lottery will distribute 13 £1 million awards to celebrate the usually unlucky Friday 13th. The game works in exactly the same way as usual; your entry for the special prize draw is automatically generated when you play a line in the main game.

In addition, the next EuroMillions Superdraw takes place on Friday 20th April, with a guaranteed jackpot of €130 million (around £113 million, depending on the exchange rate on the night of the draw).

EuroMillions Tickets

If you want to play EuroMillions, you can buy tickets at retailers and online until 7:30pm on the day of the draw. You can also join an online syndicate to improve your chances of winning big!
