EuroMillions To Have a Summer Superdraw on 6th June

The date of the next EuroMillions Superdraw has been set for Friday 6th June, when the jackpot will be raised to a colossal nine-figure sum.
Superdraws only happen a few times a year and are special events on the EuroMillions calendar, because a huge prize is guaranteed without needing a long run of rollovers to build it up.
The jackpot for 6th June will be worth €130 million. This will be converted to pounds sterling based on the exchange rate on the day of the draw, but it is likely to be around the £110 million mark.
If nobody matches all the numbers on the night, the top prize will be allowed to grow as usual. The last Superdraw, on 7th March, paved the way for a new EuroMillions record being set three weeks later when an Austrian ticket holder won £209 million.
It could be that the upcoming draw lays the platform for another historic payout, potentially even making someone in the UK the National Lottery’s biggest-ever winner.
UK Success in Superdraws
The UK has had more EuroMillions jackpot winners than any other country, and many of them have come from Superdraws. June has also proved to be a particularly lucky month.
The last time that a UK player won the jackpot on the night of a Superdraw was 2nd June, 2023. The lucky ticket holder claimed their £111 million within 48 hours of the draw taking place.
A year earlier, the summer Superdraw helped to create the UK’s largest win of all time. No tickets matched all the numbers on the night, so it rolled over until a jackpot of £195 million was won. The UK player claimed the money anonymously so no further information was ever disclosed about their story.
Back in 2021, another UK ticket holder also landed a jackpot of £111 million in a Superdraw on Friday 4th June. They wasted no time in claiming their prize, contacting the National Lottery before the weekend was over.
To follow in the footsteps of any of these big winners, you’ll need to match five numbers from 1 to 50 and two Lucky Stars between 1 and 12. If you’re not sure about which numbers to play, you could try the EuroMillions Generator.
In the meantime, EuroMillions draws continue every Tuesday and Friday night. Keep up to date with the latest results after every draw.
