EuroMillions to Guarantee 100 Millionaires on 3rd February 2023

There will be 100 extra chances to become a millionaire in the EuroMillions draw on Friday 3rd February 2023, thanks to a special European Millionaire Maker raffle due to take place.

The European Millionaire Maker works very similar to the UK Millionaire Maker, with the exception that all nine EuroMillions participating countries are involved in the raffle.

How Does the European Millionaire Maker Work?

When UK players purchase their ticket, they are generated a raffle code as normal, this is then used for both the UK Millionaire Maker and the European Millionaire Maker draw, which means players have the chance to win an extra £2 million if the same code is selected for both draws.

There isn’t a set number of winners for each country in the European Millionaire Maker. Everyone who participates in the European Millionaire Maker draw has the same odds of winning, regardless of location. 100 raffle codes are drawn at random, which means some countries will have more winners than others.

When players purchase their EuroMillions ticket they’re generated one raffle code for each line they play, which consists of four letters and five numbers.  The starting letter of the raffle code shows where the ticket has been purchased. For the UK the raffle codes start with; H, J, M, T, V, X or Z and in Ireland codes begin with I.

So far there have been three European Millionaire Maker draws to have taken place. The first ever draw took place in October 2016 and guaranteed 25 Millionaires. The most recent draw was on Friday 21st January 2022, which created a record breaking 100 millionaires!
