EuroMillions Jackpot Soars to £172 Million After 14 Draws - Could It Hit £200M Again?
Updated: Thursday 7th August 2025

The EuroMillions jackpot is showing no signs of slowing down after Tuesday’s draw saw the top prize roll over again for the 14th time in a row.

The rollover boosts the next draw on Friday 8th August to be an estimated £172 million (€198 million) for any lucky winners out there! The EuroMillions jackpot cap could be in sight if it continues to roll over with no winners. However, the latest pool of winners has the UK on high alert for the next person to take home that top prize.

Two UK players recently came very close to winning the jackpot on Tuesday  5th August when they matched five of the main numbers with one Lucky Star. If a UK player wins this time, they will join the top five jackpots won in the country. Some of the biggest wins in the UK include a memorable £195,707,000 on 19th July, 2022 by Joe and Jess Thwaite in Gloucester, along with an impressive £184,262,899 scooped up by one anonymous winner. You can read more about the biggest winners here and check out the recent EuroMillions results here.

The last time the jackpot cap was hit was earlier in the summer, when an Irish family won €250 million in June. Previously, it was back in March after an online player in Austrian claimed the €250 million. Fingers crossed somebody gets to take home the estimated £172 million this Friday, but if the jackpot keeps growing then we could soon be looking at another cap for the third time this year.

Luckily, you still have plenty of time to get involved in what could turn out to be another unforgettable moment in UK EuroMillions history. To get started, choose your five numbers from 1 to 50, pick two Lucky Stars between 1 and 12, then buy your tickets either in-store or online before the draw closes on Friday at 7.30pm.
