Belgian Player is Second EuroMillions Jackpot Winner in Two Draws
Updated: Wednesday 11th April 2018

A Belgian player became the second EuroMillions jackpot winner in two draws on Tuesday 10th April, matching all five main numbers and two Lucky Stars to bank €17 million (£14.8 million).

EuroMillions Jackpot Winners in 2018

The success comes just four days after a Swiss player, from the German-speaking area of the country, pocketed CHF89.4 million (€76.1 million/£66.4 million). Before this week’s double whammy, there had only been three EuroMillions jackpot winners in the first three months of 2018.

Players from the UK and Spain shared €177.7 million (£155.5 million) to break the duck for the year on Friday 23rd February, with a Portuguese ticket holder scooping €61.5 million (£54.6 million) on Tuesday 13th March.

The fact that a player won on the 13th March could be a good omen for players hopeful of sealing a hat trick of jackpot successes this week, as the next draw lands on the traditional day of bad luck, Friday 13th. The date will actually turn out to be a lucky one for 13 UK EuroMillions players, who will each win £1 million in a special UK Millionaire Maker draw.

EuroMillions Results for Tuesday 10th April

The EuroMillions results for Tuesday 10th April were 14, 27, 39, 46 and 48, with Lucky Stars 11 and 12. Prizes ranged from €4.50 (£2.80) for matching two main numbers to €371,546 for the two players who matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star.

Belgian EuroMillions Winner

As the Belgian jackpot winner is yet to come forward, their identity remains unknown. They could be an individual or part of a lottery group. Many players join forces with family members, work colleagues or online syndicates to improve their chances of winning and sharing a huge EuroMillions payout.

Whoever they are, they became Belgium’s 30th EuroMillions jackpot winner since 2004 in Tuesday night’s draw.

Next EuroMillions Jackpot

The EuroMillions jackpot for Friday is worth €17 million (£14 million) and there is a Superdraw planned for Friday 20th April, with a guaranteed jackpot of €130 million (£113 million by current exchange rates). Players can enter by purchasing EuroMillions tickets from authorised retailers in each of the participating nations, or by joining a syndicate online.
