£15 Million Lotto ‘Must Be Won’ Draw on 13th September

£15 Million Lotto ‘Must Be Won’ Draw on 13th September
Updated: Monday 22nd September 2025

Lottery fans are excited for Saturday 13th September as the jackpot will be raised up to £15 million. This is regardless of its current value, or whether a lucky winner wins a substantial cash prize in the next draw. The triple rollover Lotto value presently stands at £8.4 million and awaits a new draw on Wednesday 10th.

How ‘Must Be Won’ Draws Work

Must Be Won draws take place when there have been no winning tickets for the Lotto jackpot in five consecutive draws. In the sixth draw – the ‘Must Be Won’ draw – the jackpot prize money simply has to be won, even if nobody manages to match all six of the winning digits.

If nobody manages to get all six then the jackpot is shared amongst all the other players who match two or more numbers in a ‘Rolldown’. In addition, players who buy two or more lines online will be entered into the Free Prize Draw with the opportunity to win 1 of 15 £100,000 prizes.

How the Rolldown Prizes Work

Here’s a quick rundown of what you could win on 13th September in a rolldown. Bear in mind that for some of these prizes, the exact amount depends on how many players win in this tier and the size of the jackpot.

- Match Six: The winner will win the jackpot as usual except the amount could be much greater.

However, if nobody wins the jackpot:

- Match 5 + Bonus Ball (If no one wins the jackpot): The winner gets a boosted prize from the rolled-down jackpot. While the standard prize is £1,000,000, during a Must Be Won draw, it can be increased significantly.

- Match 5: Normally this prize is about £1,750. A Must Be Won rolldown draw  can double or even triple it reaching £4,000–£5,000 or more.

- Match 4: Typically worth around £140, the prize in a Must Be Won draw might jump to £200–£300+.

- Match 3: Winners usually get £30, but with the rolldown jackpot top-up, this can rise to £60 or £100. This is a significant tier as 85% of the rolled-down jackpot (after Match 2 is paid) is usually allocated to this group.

- Match 2: Winners receive £5 (on top of their Lucky Dip), and the rest of the jackpot will be cut into percentages and go to each prize category.
