Three Winners, One Draw: The Most Recent EuroMillions Jackpot Win
The most recent EuroMillions drawing was a rare turn of luck for three players, two of which bought their tickets in the UK. Three winners in one drawing are now to split a huge jackpot worth £125.5 million, for a total of about £41,844,862.30 each (€48,460,200 for the ticket bought in France).
The Winnings
Following 11 rollovers in a row, the EuroMillions jackpot was heading towards one of the largest in the history of the game. Just six weeks prior, a single UK ticket-holder won an enormous £181 million on 10th March, making this most recent drawing part of a hot streak for UK lottery winners.
The numbers of last night’s drawing were 13, 16, 29, 40, and 47 along with Lucky Stars 3 and 4. With the odds of getting the numbers exactly right being as gargantuan as 1 in 140,000,000, the chances of it happening three times over across the UK and France seems even more unlikely.
The best part for the winners is that they will not lose a single penny of their winnings to taxes. In the United Kingdom and France, lottery winnings are considered a windfall rather than earned income, which makes the prizes 100% tax free.
The jackpot winners weren’t the only lucky players. The Millionaire Maker code was won by a UK ticket. Millionaire Raffle codes are a standard secondary win in EuroMillions drawings, and the winning code in this instance was: HVHT 22088.
Lottery Officials and EuroMillions History
Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at National Lottery operator Allwyn, called the triple-jackpot win “another great night for EuroMillions players”. One could argue that it’s more than that. Three winners at once is a rare thing indeed.
The history of EuroMillions has seen several instances of split jackpots, though events of three or more winners tend to be few and far between. November 2024 saw two winners from the UK and Spain split a €144 million jackpot. Much further back in November 2006, seven winners shared a EuroMillions jackpot.
While history tells us that triple wins are rare, the random nature of the draw means another split could happen as soon as this Friday. The EuroMillions lottery has no memory or agenda and we simply can’t know what its future holds.
Claim Period and Future Drawings
With 180 days for the latest jackpot winners to claim their share of the prize, the deadline for claiming is 18th October 2026. The winners will also have to choose between anonymity and coming forwards, though winners generally prefer anonymity.
The EuroMillions jackpot now resets to its baseline of £14 million for the next drawing on Friday 24th April. If you want to take part, you can pick lucky numbers online or manually at an authorised lottery retailer near you. Just be sure to check your tickets after the draw has concluded and return here to see the results.
