Lotto Must Be Won Draw Set for Saturday 15th November
Updated: Monday 10th November 2025
The Lotto jackpot will be raised to £15 million for Saturday 15th November, making it the joint-largest prize to have been offered on the game all year. What’s more, the jackpot must be won!
The rules of Lotto only allow the jackpot to roll over for five draws in a row, before it must be won in the next draw. This helps to create regular winners, but usually means the jackpot does not have scope to go above £11 million to £12 million.
The National Lottery therefore organises special draws from time to time to boost the jackpot a bit higher, regardless of how many draws there have been since the last win. It will be increased to £15 million on Saturday, setting up the chance to become one of the biggest Lotto years in recent history.
Even if nobody matches all the numbers, excitement is guaranteed. As the jackpot must be won, a ‘rolldown’ will occur if required and the entire £15 million will be split between everyone else who wins a prize.
Match two numbers and you’ll receive £5 in addition to your Lucky Dip. A percentage of the remaining jackpot money is then allocated to each of the other prize categories, so you can expect to pick up a significantly enhanced payout if you do win. Match three numbers, for example, and you might get around £100 instead of the standard £30.
The last time that the Lotto jackpot was raised to £15 million for a Must Be Won draw was on Saturday 13th September. Check out the rolldown prizes that were given away for this draw after no tickets matched all the numbers.
More Special Draws To Come
It promises to be a fun end to the year for lottery fans in the UK, with more special draws lined up before the sun sets on 2025. A EuroMillions Superdraw has been scheduled for Friday 5th December, taking the multi-national jackpot up to €130 million (around £110 million).
The National Lottery has not announced details of any festive promotions yet, but another Lotto Must Be Won draw could be in the offing, and perhaps a EuroMillions draw with multiple winning Millionaire Maker codes.
