The Lotto game delivered another big jackpot win on Wednesday, which means that two jackpots have now been landed in the last four draws. The latest win was achieved by a single ticket, and was worth £6,981,548, so whoever scooped that prize can now look forward to spending the rest of their days living in the lap of luxury.

The Lotto results which provided the latest jackpot success on Wednesday 5 July were 16, 18, 25, 27, 29 and 57. The Bonus Ball was 04, and although it wasn’t needed to land the top prize, it proved extremely valuable to the owners of three tickets which also matched five main numbers to secure a second-tier prize of £15,221 each.

There were more than 786,000 prizes scooped across the lower tiers, and one player won a cool £1 million by matching the Lotto Millionaire Raffle code, which was PINK 2896 1706. Another 20 players each won £20,000 by matching one of the standard Lotto Raffle codes, the full list of which can be found on our Lotto Results page.

Over in Ireland, Irish Lotto also delivered its jackpot, which was worth €6,409,326, to one lucky winner. The Irish Lotto numbers for Wednesday 5 July were 07, 16, 18, 20, 24 and 37, and the Bonus Ball was 13. We can confirm that the winner bought their ticket in the North of the country, and more than 36,000 tickets won consolation prizes.
