EuroMillions Jackpot Soars up to £185 Million

EuroMillions Jackpot Soars up to £185 Million
Updated: Wednesday 28th May 2025

It wasn’t too long ago that the biggest ever EuroMillions jackpot of £210 million was won by a player from Austria. Two months later, the top prize stands at an incredible £185 million - which would be the second biggest in the UK if it is won.

The biggest ever UK winner chose to remain anonymous when they won the jackpot back in 2022 - a staggering £195 million! All UK EuroMillions winners have the option to reveal their identities or not. Will the next one take the private route, or will they want to announce it to the world like Joe and Jess Thwaite who won £184,262,899 also in 2022!

Perhaps the jackpot will overtake the largest EuroMillions win, it all depends on when someone matches all six numbers. In the last EuroMillions draw two people came close as they matched five numbers and one Lucky Star - just missing out by one - but still receiving around £353,812 each! Still, there was no jackpot winner so the prize rolled over again to land on £185 million, how much will it rise to?

Superdraw Next Friday?

If that excitement wasn't enough, there is potentially going to be a EuroMillions Superdraw next Friday 6th June that would potentially boost the jackpot…

However, if nobody has won EuroMillions before then, there won’t be any Superdraw as the top prize would actually be higher than what the Superdraw would boost it too.

Normally, Superdraws raise the regular jackpots regardless of whether they were won or not. They usually rise to €130 million and then converted to pounds sterling which is around £110 million. Here we are looking at a jackpot that could be worth over £200 million - so there is no need for the Superdraw to take place.

Either way, there is going to be a huge jackpot to be won on Friday 6th June, so make sure you get a ticket for that draw - if you don’t also purchase them for the two coming up this Friday and next Tuesday.

Superdraw Jackpots

UK fares well when Superdraws occur, while not always winning on the night, they benefit from the jackpot rolling over even higher for the next draw. In fact this was what happened with the biggest UK winner as the Superdraw had taken place a few draws earlier.

The last Superdraw was also the reason for the biggest jackpot win in Europe taking place - so it is truly responsible for some of the largest payouts across Europe. This time, however, an even bigger win could happen without it!

The next draw will take place on Friday 30th May. Find out if there's a winner or not by checking our results page and get involved yourself by purchasing tickets online.
