Friday’s EuroMillions Superdraw produced a gigantic win as a single ticket holder matched all the numbers to land a jackpot worth £113 million.

The big win went to someone from Belgium, but it was still a magical night for many lucky UK players. More than 950,000 prizes were given away in the country, after the numbers 4, 17, 25, 28 and 44, plus Lucky Stars 5 and 11, were revealed in the draw.

Another long run would give UK players another crack at breaking the national record, which currently belongs to the anonymous ticket holder who pocketed £195 million in July 2022, and another Superdraw could beckon before the end of the year if the participating nations can agree on a date and there is sufficient money in the Reserve Fund.
