EuroMillions Jackpot Up To £121 Million After Superdraw Rollover

Friday night’s eagerly-awaited EuroMillions Superdraw passed by without anyone winning the jackpot, but millions of players picked up cash awards and the top prize will now climb to a magnificent £121 million for the next game on Tuesday.

EuroMillions Results

The numbers drawn on Friday 20th April were 3, 16, 25, 39 and 44, plus Lucky Stars 7 and 11. There were over 3.3 million prizes given away altogether, including an astonishing 849,700 in the UK.

One UK ticket holder scooped a stunning £423,989 after matching five main numbers plus one Lucky Star, while the other prizes won ranged from £2.90 for matching two main numbers to £16,458 for matching five main numbers.

The winning Millionaire Maker codes were ZFCS80189 and ZGDG04378, instantly netting the participants with matching tickets £1 million each. One lucky player also won £1 million in Friday’s EuroMillions HotPicks game. Go to the EuroMillions Results page to find a complete breakdown of the prizes won on Friday night.

Superdraw Jackpots

The EuroMillions jackpot was increased to an incredible £114 million for Friday evening’s game, but as nobody won, it can now roll over as normal. The top prize can keep growing until it reaches its jackpot cap of €190 million (£166 million based on the current exchange rate), and must then be won in the fifth draw at this level at the very latest.

Friday’s Superdraw was the first of its kind this year, and the 21st in total. The jackpot has been won on the night just seven times, most recently on 30th June 2017 when a UK player won £87.5 million.

How to win EuroMillions

An even heftier jackpot will now be up for grabs on Tuesday night, and players will be considering various strategies for winning. You need to match at least two main numbers, or one main number and both of the Lucky Stars, to bag a prize, and there are 13 different ways to win.

The odds of winning are the same for every single combination of EuroMillions numbers so it only takes one line to hit the jackpot, but you can increase your chances by submitting multiple entries. By playing in a syndicate, you can also keep the cost of playing down.

Another technique to think about is using random numbers rather than a pattern. Many players like to use significant dates or sequences such as multiples of seven, but if these numbers come up it would be more likely that the prize would have to be shared more ways. If you make sure you pick random numbers, ideally containing at least one number above 31, you are more likely to receive a bigger payout. Use the EuroMillions Number Generator to create a random selection.

If you’re a fan of Statistics, you can also learn lots more about which numbers have been drawn the most frequently, which numbers are the most overdue, which pairs are the most common and much more.

Don’t miss the next draw

The only way to have a chance of winning Tuesday’s big jackpot is to take part, whether you wish to visit an authorised retailer or get involved online. Somebody could be set to become one of the game’s biggest winners, or the top prize could continue to climb. Good luck!
