The Next EuroMillions Superdraw is 25th September

Following the previous cancellation for the planned event on Friday 5th June 2026, the EuroMillions Superdraw has now been rescheduled for 25th September 2026.

If you’re looking for an opportunity to anticipate a jackpot, this special drawing only happens a few times a year.

Why is a EuroMillions Superdraw special? Mainly because the jackpot is guaranteed to be massive, and if it’s not won, it will boost subsequent regular weekly EuroMillions jackpots.

Superdraws are funded by a Reserve Fund, which is in place to ensure that the main EuroMillions jackpot can remain at €17 million indefinitely. However, it’s also used to pay for exciting promotions like Superdraws.

What Happened in Previous Superdraws?

The most recent EuroMillions Superdraw took place on Friday 20th February 2026 with a guaranteed baseline of €130 million. No ticket matched all seven winning numbers on this night, causing the prize to roll over continuously across multiple regular draws over the following few weeks.

That was until 10th March, when a United Kingdom winner hit the full seven-number combination and claimed the accumulated jackpot. This £181 million payout became the third-largest EuroMillions jackpot ever won in the UK.

How the September Superdraw will go down remains to be seen, but one thing that’s guaranteed: somebody is inevitably going to win big, whether it’s on the day or in subsequent EuroMillions drawings. If the jackpot is not won in the draw on Tuesday 22nd September, it will be bumped all the way up to €130 million for the Superdraw.

Why Was It Cancelled Last Time?

A Superdraw is designed to increase the EuroMillions jackpot to a guaranteed baseline, usually €130 million. But before the scheduled June Superdraw, the natural rollovers from the regular EuroMillions jackpot had already reached €160 million.

Because the existing jackpot was already larger than the standard Superdraw guarantee, officials cancelled the Superdraw boost, saving the reserve funds for a later date. Now, that day is on the horizon.

How to Play Euromillions Superdraws

Taking part in the EuroMillions Superdraw is simple — if you’ve played Euromillions before, it’s the same process except with a different jackpot. Just pick five lucky main numbers and two Lucky Stars, and try to match as many numbers as you can.

2026 has been an amazing year for huge jackpots already, with over €800 million paid out in total since the year began. Let that set the tone for the upcoming Superdraw. Perhaps this will be the greatest payout yet?
