Single Ticket Wins £122 Million EuroMillions Jackpot

Another nine-figure EuroMillions jackpot was won on Tuesday 7th December, as a single ticket holder scooped £122 million. The lucky entry was sold in Spain, but there were also a number of big wins for UK players.

The jackpot was bumped up to €130 million (£111 million) for a Superdraw in the previous draw on Friday, even though it had only just been won a week earlier.

The Superdraw ended in a rollover, but the top prize was won at the next time of asking as a Spanish ticket matched all the numbers on Tuesday - 22, 31, 38, 46 and 47, with Lucky Stars 7 and 11.

It is the third jackpot of more than £100 million to be won in the space of less than two months, after a €220 million payout on 15th October and a €162 million win on 26th November.

While there was no success for UK players in the top category, one UK participant matched five main numbers plus one of the Lucky Stars to win £298,841. Another player matched the Millionaire Maker code - VFLN93289 - to instantly become £1 million richer.

The EuroMillions Results page has a full prize breakdown, showing the number of winners in each category and the corresponding prize value. You can also find the total number of winners throughout Europe.

If you’re not sure whether you won a prize in the latest draw, you can use the EuroMillions Checker to find out. Enter the numbers you selected and the Checker will let you know straight away how many you matched.

You’ll need to come forward within 180 days of the draw date if you’ve won a prize. The exact claims process depends on how much you have won, and whether you played online or in-store.

There’s another EuroMillions draw to look forward to on Friday, with a jackpot worth £14 million. You could just follow in the footsteps of the latest big winner. Take part online or go to an authorised retailer.
