Two UK Players Split £62 Million EuroMillions Jackpot

Updated: Wednesday 12th July 2023

After a run of five rollovers in a row, the EuroMillions jackpot was won on Tuesday night. It was a double celebration for the UK, too, as not one but two players scooped the jackpot.

The top prize had climbed to £62 million, so each lucky ticket holder will receive £31 million when they come forward to claim their share.

The winning numbers were 2, 11, 28, 42 and 48, with Lucky Stars 4 and 9. There were 436,115 prizes won in the UK, plus a £1 million payout for the participant who matched the Millionaire Maker code. Go to the EuroMillions Results page for full draw details.

Speaking after the draw, the National Lottery’s Senior Winners’ Advisor Andy Carter said: “What an amazing night for UK EuroMillions players as two winners have shared tonight’s life-changing £62 million EuroMillions jackpot.”

There have now been five UK jackpot winners in 2023, and all five have come since the start of May.

Tuesday’s draw also marked the first time since 2016 that more than one UK player has landed the jackpot in the same draw.

The wait now begins for the two players to contact the National Lottery to kick-start the claims process. They have 180 days from the draw date to get in touch, and they can decide whether to stay private or go public.

Go to the How to Claim page to find out what you need to do if you have won a prize of any value. If you’re not sure whether you are a winner, you can use the EuroMillions Checker to find out.

The EuroMillions jackpot will now reset to £14 million, with draws continuing every Tuesday and Friday night.
