EuroMillions Jackpot Won in Spain as UK Creates 13 Millionaires

Updated: Monday 16th July 2018

The EuroMillions jackpot was won for the second draw in a row on Friday night as a single player scooped £15 million. While this lucky ticket was sold in Spain, it was still a spectacular night for UK participants as the Millionaire Maker raffle created 13 new millionaires.

EuroMillions Results for Friday 13th July

The winning numbers on Friday 13th July were 1, 4, 14, 21 and 49, with Lucky Stars 2 and 12. The jackpot had reset to its minimum amount after a UK player won £58 million in the previous draw, and someone from Spain managed to match the full winning line to pocket the lot and keep the run of success going on Friday.

The other prizes given away in the main game ranged from £2.70 for matching two main numbers to £415,324 for the two ticket holders in the ‘Match 5 + 1’ tier. Go to the EuroMillions Results page for a full prize breakdown, plus details of the Millionaire Maker draw.

It was no ordinary edition of the UK Millionaire Maker raffle on Friday, as 13 winning codes were drawn instead of the usual two. The special promotion was held to mark Friday 13th, and each winner received £1 million.

If you buy a EuroMillions ticket in the UK, you are automatically entered into the supplementary Millionaire Maker game at no extra cost. You receive a unique code for each line of EuroMillions numbers you play, and multiple winners are guaranteed in each draw.

How to Claim EuroMillions Prizes

If you win a prize in EuroMillions or any other National Lottery game, you have 180 days from the date of the draw to come forward and claim your money. You will need to get in touch with the National Lottery to claim larger prizes, and can then decide whether to stay anonymous or go public with your win.

Officials are still waiting to hear from last week’s £58 million winner, and the hunt can now also begin for the latest batch of 13 millionaires. Use the EuroMillions Checker to see if you are due a prize.

Could It Be Three in a Row?

The EuroMillions jackpot was won for three consecutive draws at the start of June, and there is now a chance it could happen again this month. The top prize will remain at £15 million for Tuesday night’s game, giving players another opportunity to win a sensational eight-figure amount.

There’s also £4.9 million up for grabs in Lotto on Wednesday. You can visit any authorised retailer to pick up a ticket, or you can take part online. Playing online is safe and secure and you will be notified of any prizes you win. Find out more at the Lottery Tickets page.
