New £100,000 Health Lottery Draw on Wednesdays and Saturdays

Updated: Wednesday 11th March 2020

The Health Lottery has launched a new £100,000 draw that takes place every Wednesday and Saturday. It means that Health Lottery players who purchase tickets on those days now have an extra chance to win with every line.

Health Lottery draws take place five days a week – Tuesday to Saturday – and now if you purchase an entry for a Wednesday or Saturday draw you will automatically be entered into the extra £100,000 draw that takes place after the main game. No additional purchase is required.

Five new winning numbers between 1 and 50 will be drawn and if you match all five you win the £100,000 prize. You use the same numbers that you picked for the main draw in the extra draw, so you don’t have to do anything else to enter – just pick your numbers for a Wednesday or Saturday draw as normal and purchase your entries. The £100,000 game does not take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays.

The £100,000 prize is the only one available, so unlike the main draw you don’t win anything for matching four or fewer numbers. If there are multiple winners in the £100,000 draw the prize money will be shared equally between them. The odds of winning are 1 in 2.1 million and prizes can be claimed up to 180 days after the draw.

The new £100,000 Health Lottery draw launched on 4th January and the latest draw took place on Saturday 18th January – the winning numbers were 7, 20, 36, 44, and 50.

The Group Joint Managing Director of the Health Lottery, Martin Ellice, said: “Not only will this create more winners, but we expect to see a significant increase in money to good causes. Alongside the new £100,000 draws we plan to run other exciting free prize draws for the chance to win cars, holidays and shopping sprees. So keep your eyes peeled!”

Over the Christmas and New Year period the Health Lottery gave away hundreds of thousands of pounds in prize money, as well as prizes such as cars and smart watches, in special draws. The extra cash prizes are now set to continue on an ongoing basis with the introduction of the twice-weekly £100,000 draws.

Health Lottery Mega Raffle To End

With the special £100,000 draws now taking place twice a week, it has been announced that the Mega Raffle will come to an end. The final raffle will take place on Sunday 1st March.

The Health Lottery’s Monthly Mega Raffle was introduced in September 2018 and has given away a £250,000 prize in every draw. The raffles take place on the first of every month and all players who purchase a Health Lottery ticket are entered into the following month’s raffle. The Mega Raffle code is below the numbers on your ticket - if your code matches the winning one exactly you win the £250,000 prize.

Everyone who buys a Health Lottery ticket for a February draw will be entered into the Mega Raffle on 1st March, but if you purchase a ticket for any draw from Tuesday 3rd March onwards, there will be no raffle code on your entry.
