Lotto Winner Scoops £9.5 Million Triple Rollover Jackpot

A Lotto ticket holder picked up Saturday’s £9.5 million jackpot, becoming the first to take the top prize in April. The top prize had been rolling since Paul Long from Essex picked up £9.3 million on Saturday 24th March and the latest success marks the sixth time in 2018 that someone has matched all six main numbers.

Lotto Results

The winning Lotto numbers on Saturday 7th April were 1, 4, 31, 33, 52 and 55 with Bonus Ball 13. In addition to the jackpot, another ticket holder boosted their bank account with a seven-figure sum by matching the Lotto Millionaire Raffle code LIME 8780 2545 to win £1 million.

You can find the full Lotto prize breakdown and the 20 second-tier Lotto Raffle codes, each worth £20,000 at the Lotto Results page.

Lotto Winners

Saturday’s Lotto winner has yet to come forward with their ticket, so it is not known where they bought their ticket or whether they are a single player or part of a syndicate. If they opt for privacy, no information about their name or location will be released. However, many Lotto winners do opt to share their news at a press conference.

Paul Long did just that recently, recounting that he only bought his £9.3 million-winning slip as he felt his luck was in following a rare victory for his football team, Leyton Orient. The jobless father from Wickford told reporters that his first priority was to secure his children’s futures and that one of his first purchases was a brand new Ford EcoSport SUV.

He recalled that he celebrated his good fortune by adding an extra sugar to his Sunday morning cup of tea, rather than opting for the bubbly at such an early hour!

Lotto Jackpot

Wednesday’s Lotto jackpot is worth £1.8 million if you can match the full winning line. You can buy Lotto tickets online and at retailers, or you could boost your chances of winning by joining an online syndicate. Good luck!
