Date Announced For Next EuroMillions Superdraw

The date of the next EuroMillions Superdraw has been confirmed. It will be the second big event of the year, following on from the 100 Millionaires draw on 3rd February. Find out more about how it will work.

When is the Superdraw?

The Superdraw will take place on Friday 3rd March. As ever, the draw itself will be held in Paris, France, at approximately 8:00pm.

What will be the jackpot?

The jackpot for the Superdraw will be €130 million. The value in pounds will only be finalised on the day based on the exchange rate, but it is set to be around £111 million.

This jackpot amount is guaranteed, as Superdraws are only scheduled when there is enough money in the Reserve Fund for such a promotion to go ahead. The Reserve Fund is a type of booster pot which receives a small percentage of the prize fund in every draw, so that the minimum EuroMillions jackpot can always be offered and special events can be organised.

What if the jackpot is already higher than £111 million?

The planned Superdraw would not go ahead if the value of the jackpot was already more than £111 million. Another Superdraw would then be scheduled in the near future.

This happened last year when a Superdraw was lined up for Friday 29th April. The jackpot for the preceding draw was worth €138 million and was not won, so the Superdraw was effectively cancelled and a top prize of €158 million was offered on the Friday.

Can the jackpot roll if nobody wins?

Yes. Just like a normal draw, the Superdraw jackpot will roll if there are no tickets that match all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars on the night of 3rd March. A larger amount will then be offered in the following draw.

How high could the jackpot go?

The jackpot is allowed to keep climbing until it is won, or until it reaches its limit. Currently, this cap is set at €240 million (approximately £210 million). Once the jackpot reaches its maximum amount, it can only stay at that level for a maximum of four draws before it must be won in the fifth draw at the cap.

Do UK players ever win in Superdraws?

UK players have an excellent track record in recent Superdraws. The last time that a Superdraw was won on the night, in February 2022, it was a UK ticket holder who pocketed the jackpot (£109 million).

When the next Superdraw in June rolled over and went all the way up to €230 million (£195 million), it was a UK player again who matched all the numbers. This made them the biggest winner in the game’s history.

How can I play and win the Superdraw?

You can enter the EuroMillions Superdraw online or by purchasing tickets from an authorised retailer in one of the participating countries. To win the jackpot, you’ll need to match all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars. There are also 12 other ways to win prizes, starting from matching two numbers.

There’s no guaranteed way to win a prize - other than to play every single combination - but you always have a chance if you take part in the game. Check the EuroMillions Results after every draw to see if you are a winner.
