Next EuroMillions Superdraw Scheduled for Friday 26th January
Updated: Wednesday 20th December 2023

EuroMillions players can look forward to the first Superdraw of the new year on Friday 26th January, when the jackpot will be increased to approximately £110 million (€130 million).

Superdraws are special events which only take place every few months. All the participating national lotteries agree on a date a few weeks in advance when the jackpot can be bumped up beyond £100 million.

The advertised amount is guaranteed, as the money comes from the EuroMillions Reserve Fund. This means that you don’t have to wait for a series of rollovers to create a nine-figure prize. It doesn’t even matter if there is a jackpot winner in the draw immediately before a Superdraw - it will still be boosted to €130 million.

The figure is always set in euros as that is the currency of most of the nations where EuroMillions is played. It is then converted to pounds based on the exchange rate on the day of the draw.

Superdraws work exactly the same as regular draws, apart from the colossal jackpot. There is no extra cost and your chances of winning are exactly the same as normal. Match all five main numbers from 1 to 50, plus the two Lucky Stars between 1 and 12, and you’ll win or share the jackpot.

If no tickets match all the numbers, the jackpot will roll over and continue to grow until it is won or reaches its limit. The jackpot cap now stands at €250 million after the recent record win worth €240 million (£206 million).

It will be the earliest that there has ever been a Superdraw, and the first time that such an event has been held in January.

Superdraws in 2023

The upcoming January Superdraw follows hot on the heels of four in 2023. Out of those four, two jackpots were won on the night, including one in the UK on 2nd June. The lucky winner made their claim for the £111 million jackpot within a couple of days, before ultimately collecting the money anonymously.

For the final Superdraw of 2023, on 1st December, a Mega Jackpot of £171 million (€200 million) was offered. This was far bigger than normal, and a couple of rollovers was all it took to hit its maximum amount of €240 million.

If you want to try and win the next Superdraw jackpot, circle the date of 26th January on your calendar. You can also continue to enjoy draws every Tuesday and Friday night. Visit an authorised lottery retailer or take part online.
