Win a Christmas Jackpot!

Win a Christmas Jackpot!
Updated: Friday 10th October 2014

We’ll start today’s news item by wishing all of you a very merry Christmas – the festive fun is here at last, along with quite a bit of snow in many parts of the UK! We don’t know if any of you have had a flutter on it being a white Christmas this year, but the good news for lottery players is that you could win a whole lot more by playing EuroMillions on Christmas Day and Lotto on Boxing Day!

We reported previously that the EuroMillions game last Friday 18 December resulted in a single player scooping the triple rollover jackpot. The great thing about EuroMillions is that the minimum jackpot is always worth €15 million (that’s around £13 million), so you have that amount to play for on Friday 25 December. EuroMillions players in the UK also get an extra chance to become £1,000,000 richer thanks to the Millionaire Raffle game that was introduced in November.

The Lotto jackpot on Wednesday 23 December escaped the clutches of players everywhere, because nobody matched all six of the main numbers (the lottery results were 15, 18, 26, 32, 36 and 37, and the Bonus Ball was 22). However, six players did match five of the main numbers and the Bonus Ball to win £147,101 each, which is a whole lot better than nothing.

With no jackpot winner on Wednesday, the next Lotto game on Saturday 26 December will boast a rollover jackpot of around £7,000,000, so if the £13 million EuroMillions jackpot eludes you on Christmas Day you could still become a Lotto multi-millionaire on Boxing Day!

Buy lottery tickets online today for both EuroMillions and the Lotto and you can quickly get back to the serious business of celebrating the festive season. Hopefully Santa will put something nice under your tree this year, but if not then you will still have the chance to win yourself a Christmas lottery prize that could change your life forever!

Good luck and have a very Merry Christmas!
