Weekend Lottery Results
Updated: Tuesday 8th April 2014
The latest weekend lottery results gave players a combination of outcomes, with one big jackpot rolling over and another one being landed outright. The Friday night EuroMillions jackpot was the one that rolled, and that has set things up for a massive midweek game this Tuesday 9 July, when players will be able to play for around £28 million. The outright win came in the Saturday night Lotto game, and the jackpot success was worth £3.99 million to the player who was lucky enough to match all six main numbers.
The EuroMillions results on Friday 5 July were 04, 12, 15, 28 and 33, and the Lucky Star numbers were 01 and 10. With no player winning the jackpot itself (which had a final value of £22.41 million) the biggest winners were found at the second tier, where five tickets (none of them purchased in the UK) won €330,378 for matching the five main numbers and one Lucky Star.
There were 19 winning tickets at the third tier (7 of which were purchased by UK players) and each of those won £19,091 by matching the five main numbers only. Over 2.98 million smaller prizes were won by players matching fewer numbers, and the total amount of cash landed by UK players was £3,075,326. The winning Millionaire Raffle number was VYF058635, so if you managed to find that same number on your ticket you are now £1 million richer than you were previously!
The main numbers drawn in the UK Lotto game on Saturday 6 July were 16, 24, 27, 39, 45 and 49, with the number 44 appearing as the Bonus Ball. We have already said that one ticket won the jackpot outright, and the exact value of that jackpot was £3,998,105. Five tickets matched five of the main numbers along with the Bonus Ball to win £246,037 each, and over 409,000 tickets won smaller prizes by matching five, four or three main numbers only.
Health Lottery players who watch the draw on Channel 5 saw Natalie Cassidy present the Saturday night results, which were 04, 06, 15, 32 and 40, along with the Bonus Ball number 45. There were three tickets that matched all five main numbers to each win the top prize of £100,000, and consolation prizes went to the owners of more than 8,300 other tickets.
Lottery players who didn’t win as much as they had hoped to in the games mentioned can now have another go at winning in the week ahead. Click here to buy your tickets online and if you don’t land the £28 million jackpot in the EuroMillions game on Tuesday you could still win a £2 million jackpot in the Lotto game on Wednesday. Enjoy the games and good luck!
