Weekend Lottery Jackpots Landed

Weekend Lottery Jackpots Landed

The jackpots in the latest EuroMillions and Lotto games were both landed rather impressively, with the top prize going to a single ticket in each case. On Friday 19 September the EuroMillions jackpot, which had rolled over eight times in a row and had a final value of £68,362,889, was landed by a ticket that had been purchased in Ireland. Then, on Saturday 20 September, the Lotto game delivered a jackpot worth £3,955,683. Add in a Millionaire Raffle prize win of £1,000,000 on Friday and 50 Lotto Raffle prizes of £20,000 each being won on Saturday and we think you'll agree that it was a rather exciting weekend!

The EuroMillions results that gave Ireland its second jackpot success of 2014 were 06, 08, 34, 38 and 48, along with the Lucky Star numbers 03 and 09. Two tickets matched all five main numbers and one Lucky Star, but neither of those had been bought in the UK, so the winners each received a prize of €909,183. There were 17 tickets that won £25,579 each after matching the five main numbers only, and over 2.78 million entries won smaller prizes. The winning Millionaire Raffle number on Friday was TST770645.

In the Lotto game on Saturday, the main numbers drawn were 02, 06, 22, 26, 33 and 48, and the Bonus Ball number was 43. There were seven lucky winners at the second tier, and each of those won £45,105 by matching five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball. Another 335 tickets matched five main numbers only to win £800 each, and over 296,000 tickets won their owners £88 or £25 each by matching four or three main numbers, respectively.

There was no top prize winner in the Health Lottery game on Saturday, but there were still plenty of participants who emerged from the game with a tidy profit. The Health Lottery results were 03, 07, 26, 28 and 41, and the Bonus Ball was 31. More than 19,000 tickets won a consolation prize, and the biggest – which went to any ticket that could match four main numbers and the Bonus Ball – was worth £10,000.

With the top prizes having been landed in both the EuroMillions and Lotto games at the weekend, players can now look forward to pursing brand new jackpots in the midweek draws. The EuroMillions jackpot this Tuesday is expected to be worth around £11 million, and the Lotto jackpot on Wednesday has an estimated value of £2.1 million. Don't forget that there is also a EuroMillions Superdraw on the horizon, with £80 million to be won on Friday 3 October. Visit this page to buy your tickets online and good luck!
