Wednesday Winners are Guaranteed!
The Tuesday EuroMillions jackpot rolled over last night, but lottery players now have a brand new midweek Lotto jackpot to pursue instead, and Wednesday winners are guaranteed in the Lotto Raffle game that also takes place this evening. The Lotto Raffle prizes are, as usual, worth £20,000 each, and there will be 50 winning numbers regardless of what happens in the main Lotto game. Talking of the main game, the jackpot is expected to be worth around £2.1 million.
EuroMillions players weren’t completely disappointed last night by any means. The main numbers drawn on Tuesday 24 March were 10, 24, 26, 39 and 40, whilst the Lucky Star numbers were 03 and 10, and there were over 1.75 million entries that won a consolation prize of some kind. There were no UK winners at the second or third tiers, but two tickets bought elsewhere won €566,578 each by matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star, and another five tickets won €75,543 each by matching five main numbers only.
The biggest UK winners in the main game were found at the fourth tier, where 40 tickets matched four main numbers as well as both Lucky Star numbers to win £3,597 each. All other winning tickets won smaller sums by matching fewer numbers, and the total value of prizes landed by UK players was £2,189,149. An additional prize of £1,000,000 was won by the player who matched the Millionaire Maker code CPJ163917.
The next EuroMillions game this Friday 27 March will now offer a jackpot worth an estimated £47 million, and the Millionaire Maker game will award a prize of £1 million and a dream car to each of 10 lucky winners in this month’s Mega Friday draw.
Before we get to that big Mega Friday event (which we will preview properly tomorrow), we still have a chance to win the estimated jackpot of £2.1 million in the midweek Lotto game this evening. For those of you who like to follow the statistics, the most overdue Lotto numbers right now are 11, 31, 28, 45, 32 and 16. Whatever numbers you choose to play, click here to buy your tickets online and good luck!
