Wednesday Night Lotto Rollover
Updated: Wednesday 5th August 2015
The Wednesday night Lotto game always gives lottery fans the chance to turn an otherwise fairly average working week into one that changes their financial lives forever, but tonight’s game promises to be especially exciting because it will offer a rollover jackpot which is expected to be worth around £6.1 million. Add in the usual consolation prizes for players who match three main numbers or more, and 50 Lotto Raffle prizes of £20,000 that are guaranteed to be won by Lotto participants, and tonight’s lottery action looks sure to put plenty of smiles on faces.
There are already smiles on the faces of quite a few people who won big money in the EuroMillions game last night. The EuroMillions results for Tuesday 4 August were 10, 15, 39, 45 and 50, along with the Lucky Star numbers 09 and 10, and the jackpot – which had been reset after the French win last Friday – was worth £10.5 million.
No EuroMillions player managed to win the jackpot itself, but two players matched five main numbers as well as one of the Lucky Star numbers to win a second tier prize of £356,550 each. One of those winners had purchased their ticket in the UK, and so had one of seven players who matched the five main numbers only to win £33,957 each.
There were 22 tickets that won a fourth tier prize of £5,402 by matching four main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars, and the total number of consolation prizes landed was 1,384,579. Tickets purchased in the UK won a total of £2,364,687 in prize money from the main game, and another £1,000,000 was won by the player who matched the Millionaire Maker code DFW984541.
EuroMillions players will now be able to play for a jackpot worth an estimated £17 million on Friday, but tonight’s Lotto rollover jackpot could make you rich well before then. For those of you who like to keep abreast of the latest lottery statistics, the most overdue numbers right now are 44, 11, 09, 34, 43 and 19. Whether or not you choose to include any of those numbers on your tickets, enjoy the midweek Lotto game this evening and good luck!Published: Wednesday 5th August 2015
