Wednesday Lotto Winning Streak
Updated: Wednesday 31st May 2017
The first three midweek Lotto games of this month have resulted in one ticket matching all six main numbers to win the jackpot outright, and lottery players across the nation are just hours away from finding out whether or not that Wednesday winning streak will continue. The rollover jackpot this time will be worth an estimated £6 million, and everyone who plays for that sum will also have the chance to win one of two Lotto Millionaire Raffle prizes of £1 million. In addition, 20 Lotto Raffle prizes worth £20,000 each will also be won.
Last night’s EuroMillions players were pursuing a jackpot worth £28.27 million, but none of the participants involved in the game were able to match all seven of the numbers that were drawn. For the benefit of those of you who haven’t yet checked your tickets, the EuroMillions results on Tuesday 24 May were 16, 17, 23, 34 and 37, along with the Lucky Star numbers 06 and 09.
Five tickets matched all five main numbers as well as one Lucky Star to secure a second tier prize of £148,143 each, and we are pleased to confirm that two of those winning entries had been purchased by players right here in the UK. Another five tickets – all of them bought overseas – won a third tier prize of €66,525 by matching the five main numbers only.
There were 53 tickets that won £2,329 each at the fourth tier by matching four main numbers as well as both of the Lucky Stars, and more than 1.65 million smaller prizes were won across the lower levels. In the associated Millionaire Maker game, one UK player landed a life-changing prize of £1 million by matching the winning code, which was DLS506955.
EuroMillions fans can now look forward to playing for a quadruple rollover jackpot of around £36 million – and one of five tropical May Mega Friday Prizes – this Friday 27 May. In the meantime, we will soon find out if the Wednesday Lotto winning streak will continue, so be sure to buy your tickets before the last-minute rush this evening and good luck with your numbers!Published: Wednesday 25th May 2016
