Lotto Offers Rollover Jackpot!
The Wednesday Lotto game this week will be offering a rollover jackpot worth an estimated £5.6 million thanks to no player matching all six main numbers in the draw that took place last Saturday. In addition, the Lotto Raffle game will create another 50 winners of £20,000 each, and technically speaking it is perfectly possible for someone to win a prize in both games with a single ticket, so there is every reason for lottery fans to think positive this evening.
EuroMillions fans didn’t see anyone win the top prize last night, so that game will boast a multi-rollover jackpot on Friday. The EuroMillions results for Tuesday 21 July were 14, 20, 27, 29 and 44, along with the Lucky Star numbers 07 and 10, and not only did no player succeed in winning the jackpot, no player was able to win a second tier prize either.
There were six tickets that matched the five main numbers required to land a third tier prize of €217,974 each, and we quote that figure in euros because none of the winning entries had been purchased in the UK. A fourth tier prize of £6,775 went to each of 19 tickets that matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars, and half a dozen of those tickets had been entered by UK players.
The fifth tier saw 673 tickets win their owners £167 each by matching four main numbers and one Lucky Star, and there were more than 1.63 million smaller prizes won at the lower levels. Participants in this country collectively won over £2.3 million in prize money, and another £1 million was landed by the UK player who matched the Millionaire Maker code YDR606098.
We congratulate everyone who won a prize of any size in the EuroMillions game, and we wish similar success to those who will be trying to win big in the midweek Lotto game this evening. The most overdue Lotto numbers at the time of writing are 16, 26, 44, 20, 45 and 31, so do watch out for those and good luck with your entries!Wednesday 22nd July 2015
