Lotto Octuple Rollover Jackpot!

Lotto Octuple Rollover Jackpot!

Eight consecutive Lotto draws without a winner at the highest level means that players will be pursuing an octuple rollover jackpot worth an estimated £24.8 million in the midweek game this evening (Wednesday 23 March). As if that weren’t enough to warrant the purchase of an extra ticket or two, one player will win a guaranteed Lotto Millionaire Raffle prize of £1 million, and twenty other participants will win a Lotto Raffle prize worth £20,000 each.

The supersized midweek Lotto jackpot tonight will be welcomed by most, but particularly by players who were hoping to land the top prize of £11.8 million in the first EuroMillions game of the week, because no ticket in that game was able to match all seven numbers. The main numbers drawn on Tuesday 22 March were 12, 15, 26, 42 and 49, and the Lucky Stars were 05 and 08.

Just one EuroMillions ticket managed to match all five main numbers as well as one of the Lucky Stars to win a second tier prize worth £682,933, and we are delighted to report that the lucky ticket in question had been purchased right here in the United Kingdom. Eight tickets matched the five main numbers only to win £28,455 each, and five times as many entries picked up a fourth tier prize of £2,845 each by matching four main numbers plus both Lucky Stars.

The total number of winners in the Tuesday EuroMillions game was 1,531,712, and the total amount of cash that was won by UK participants was £2,393,583. As always, the Millionaire Maker game gave another UK player a separate cash prize of £1 million, and the winning code on Tuesday was HFW851168.

The jackpot in the next EuroMillions game this Mega Friday will be worth an estimated £19 million, but we will talk more about that tomorrow. Right now it makes sense to concentrate on the £24.8 million octuple rollover jackpot that is up for grabs in tonight’s Lotto game, and those of you who like following our Lottery Statistics will be keen to note that the most overdue numbers at the time of writing are 45, 07, 24, 20, 03 and 28.

Whether or not someone will win tonight’s jackpot remains to be seen, but demand for entries is sure to be high, so grab your tickets early if you want to avoid the inevitable last-minute rush. That done, download one of our free Lottery Apps so that you can get the results on your mobile just as soon as the draw has taken place, and good luck!
