Wednesday Lotto Jackpot is Guaranteed to Deliver!

Wednesday Lotto Jackpot is Guaranteed to Deliver!

Lotto players this Wednesday 19 October will be playing for a jackpot worth around £26 million, and the good news is that the top prize is guaranteed to be delivered even if no player succeeds in matching all six main numbers.

We wrote that the Lotto jackpot was nearing its rollover limit towards the end of last week. Saturday’s jackpot weighed in at £24.22 million, which was well clear of the £22 million figure that triggers the ‘one more rollover’ rule, and no player matched all of the numbers that were required to win that prize, so the jackpot must be won on Wednesday.

Should no player match all six main numbers in the upcoming midweek draw, the jackpot prize pool will be rolled down to the next highest prize tier which does have winners. That is usually the second tier, where players are rewarded for matching five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball, but the jackpot could technically roll down to the third or even the lower tiers if there are no winners at the higher levels.

Once again, many players will be looking to increase their chances of winning the jackpot – or one of the many consolation prizes -  this Wednesday by purchasing multiple tickets. Every line of numbers purchased for the game will also give its owner the chance of winning a Lotto Millionaire Raffle prize of £1 million and one of twenty Lotto Raffle prizes worth £20,000 each, so there are plenty of opportunities for players to win big.

Participants who want to include one or more of the most overdue numbers on their Lotto tickets this Wednesday will be interested to note that 07, 48, 13, 01, 50 and 09 are the ones to consider. Further details of those, and of every other number used in the game, can be viewed on our Lotto Statistics page.

Demand for tickets for the Lotto game is once again expected to be extremely high, so we advise all players to purchase their entries well before the deadline to avoid the last-minute rush. Don’t forget that there is also a jackpot of around £23 million up for grabs in EuroMillions on Tuesday, so be sure to grab a ticket for that game too if you’d like the chance to win it!

It isn’t often that we can say with absolute certainty that a lottery jackpot will be delivered, so this Wednesday’s game is pretty special. Download one of our free lottery apps so that you can check your numbers within seconds of the draw taking place, and good luck!
