Wednesday Winners Guaranteed!
The midweek Lotto game this evening will offer a brand new jackpot which is expected to be worth around £2 million, and whilst we won’t know whether or not that top prize will be won until after the event, we can say with certainty that there will be plenty of winners of lesser prizes. The Lotto game itself boasts four consolation tiers that award prizes to anyone matching three main numbers or more, and the associated Lotto Raffle game always creates 50 winners of £20,000 each. In other words, whatever happens with the Lotto jackpot, Wednesday lottery winners are guaranteed!
Whilst the certainty of midweek success will appeal to most lottery fans, there are some people in the UK who won’t care quite so much, and those are the players who landed a prize in the EuroMillions game last night. The main numbers drawn on Tuesday 15 September were 08, 15, 17, 44 and 49, and the Lucky Star numbers were 05 and 08. The jackpot had a final value of just over £15.72 million, but no player matched all seven numbers and so that prize rolled over to the next game on Friday.
Six tickets, one of which had been purchased by a player here in the UK, won their owners £121,943 each by matching all five main numbers and one of the Lucky Stars. The third tier saw eight tickets – two of which belonged to UK players – match the five main numbers only to win £30,485 each. There were 45 tickets that won £2,709 each by matching four main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars, and more than 1.65 million tickets won smaller prizes. The Millionaire Maker code, which was worth £1 million to the owner of the ticket bearing the same, was SKC731747.
The next EuroMillions game this Friday 18 September will now offer a double rollover jackpot worth an estimated £22 million. In the meantime, we have the £2 million jackpot to play for in tonight’s midweek Lotto game. The most overdue numbers according to our Lotto Statistics page are 11, 34, 37, 13, 35 and 32, so do watch out for those and good luck with whatever numbers you choose to enter on your own tickets!Wednesday 16th September 2015
