Two Rollover Jackpots Coming Up!

Two Rollover Jackpots Coming Up!

Lottery players in the UK who want to try and win themselves multi-millionaire status will have a couple of very good opportunities to try and make it happen this Friday and Saturday. First, the EuroMillions game on Friday will offer a rollover jackpot of around £21 million, whilst the associated Millionaire Raffle game on the same night will make one UK player £1,000,000 richer no matter what happens in the main game. Then, on Saturday, the Lotto jackpot will be worth around £5.8 million and the Lotto Raffle game will create 100 winners of £20,000 each.

The fact that we have a rollover jackpot to look forward to in the Lotto game as well as in the EuroMillions game obviously means that no player was able to match all six main numbers in the midweek draw. The Lotto results on Wednesday 5 February were 12, 13, 28, 33, 46 and 49, and the Bonus Ball number was 29.

We have already established that no player won the jackpot on Wednesday night (a jackpot that was, incidentally, worth £2,694,454), but it is interesting to note that no player was able to win a second tier prize either. The biggest winners in the main Lotto draw were therefore found at the third tier level, where 122 tickets matched five main numbers only to win £1,386 each.

There were 6,545 tickets that matched four main numbers to win a fourth tier Lotto prize of £136 each, and the smallest possible prize of £25 went to each of 130,262 tickets that matched three main numbers. Another 50 players won £20,000 each in the Lotto Raffle game.

The midweek Health Lottery game was also lacking winners at the highest level last night. The main numbers drawn were 05, 08, 10, 28 and 43, and the Bonus Ball number was 18. More than 7,000 tickets won consolation prizes of up to £10,000 each, and any player who matched just two numbers won a free Quick Pick ticket for the next draw. That special Quick Pick consolation prize promotion will continue to apply to all of the games that take place between now and Saturday 1 March.

Whilst it would have been nice to talk about one or two midweek jackpot winners, we can at least look forward to even bigger things in the draws coming up this Friday and Saturday. Visit this page for your lottery tickets, good luck with your numbers and here’s wishing you a winning weekend!
