Two Midweek Lottery Jackpot Winners

Two Midweek Lottery Jackpot Winners
Updated: Tuesday 8th April 2014

There was a double rollover jackpot worth £8,245,874 available to any player who was able to match all six main numbers drawn in the midweek Lotto game last night, and we are thrilled to report that there were two such players. That means the jackpot prize has been divided equally, and each of the winners is now £4,122,937 richer than they were at the start of the week. With less than 100 days to go until Christmas 2013, the lucky jackpot winners can now make plans for their first festive season as multi-millionaires!

The Lotto results on Wednesday 18 September were 02, 04, 05, 17, 22 and 29, and the Bonus Ball was 14. Regular readers might have noticed that two of the main numbers just mentioned (02 and 22) were previously highlighted as being most overdue to make an appearance, so we are quite pleased that they played a role in helping the double rollover jackpot winners to succeed. The most overdue numbers for the next Lotto game, which will offer a brand new jackpot of around £3.6 million this Saturday, are 36, 10, 44, 32, 09 and 16.

There were 24 winning tickets at the second tier prize level, and each of those won £24,870 by matching five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball. Another 572 tickets matched five main numbers only to win £652 each, and 447,331 tickets won £30 or £10 each by matching four or three main numbers, respectively.

In the Health Lottery game last night, the main numbers drawn were 13, 16, 19, 22 and 48, and the Bonus Ball number was 39. There was no ticket that matched all five main numbers, but more than 2,300 tickets picked up a consolation prize.

Lottery players can now look forward to the big EuroMillions game this Friday, which will offer a triple rollover jackpot of around £38 million. If you haven’t already bought your tickets, visit this page to enter your numbers online and you won’t have to worry about braving the wind and rain or face the inevitable queues in the shops. Enjoy the game and good luck!
