Two Massive Jackpots Landed!

Two Massive Jackpots Landed!

Two massive lottery jackpots were landed on Friday and Saturday, and both of them were won by players who had bought their tickets right here in the UK! The first win came in the EuroMillions game on Friday, when one ticket matched all seven numbers to scoop a triple rollover jackpot worth £37,827,315. That win alone would have been very good news for Brits, but on Saturday the UK Lotto game also delivered its jackpot of £6,392,389 to a single lucky ticket, making it a doubly memorable weekend.

The EuroMillions results on Friday 7 September were 13, 15, 30, 35 and 42, with the numbers 04 and 06 appearing as the Lucky Stars. The person who landed the jackpot was obviously the biggest winner in the UK, but Brits did rather well at the second tier prize level too – four of the seven tickets that matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win £193,217 each were also bought in the UK. Six tickets won £75,140 each by matching five main numbers only.

In addition to all of those big prizes, 3,084,907 other prizes were won at the lower levels, and the total amount of EuroMillions cash won by UK players exceeded £42.2 million. As if that wasn’t enough, one other Brit won £1,000,000 by matching the Millionaire Raffle number SHY258723. For players who weren’t lucky enough to win a EuroMillions prize on Friday, the next jackpot this Tuesday 11 September will be worth around £11 million.

The Lotto results on Saturday 8 September were 08, 15, 21, 26, 28 and 32, and the Bonus Ball was 29. Whilst just one ticket won the jackpot, 631 tickets came extremely close. 14 of those tickets matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win £87,782 each, and the other 617 tickets matched five main numbers only to win £1,244 each. At the lower prize levels, 31,040 tickets won £54 each by matching four main numbers and 554,993 tickets matched three main numbers to win £10 each. The next Lotto jackpot this Wednesday 12 September will be worth around £2.2 million.

Well done to all players who managed to win a lottery prize over the last few days, and especially to the owners of the tickets that landed the two massive jackpots in the EuroMillions and Lotto games.
