Two Draws and Two Rollovers
Updated: Wednesday 23rd April 2014
The two big lottery draws at the end of last week resulted in rollovers for both of the jackpots. In the EuroMillions game on Friday 26 August, the jackpot rolled over for the eighth time in a row, giving the top prize this Tuesday 30 August an estimated value of £86 million. One day later, on Saturday 27 August, the Lotto jackpot also rolled over, giving players a jackpot of around £6.6 million to play for this Wednesday 31 August. All of this means that the last few days of the month could be some of the most exciting and potentially some of the most lucrative!
The lottery results in the EuroMillions game on Friday were 12, 22, 25, 33 and 45, and the two Lucky Stars were 05 and 07. Although nobody won the jackpot, 16 players did come very close and won £80,504 each by matching the five main numbers and one of the Lucky Star numbers. 17 players matched five main numbers but no Lucky Stars to win £25,256 each, and another 219 players matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars to win £980 each. The winning Millionaire Raffle number on Friday was PKD576977.
In the Lotto game on Saturday, the results were 06, 07, 29, 32, 41 and 46, and the Bonus Ball was 49. There were eight winners at the second-tier prize level and each of those players won £174,665 by matching five of the six main numbers plus the Bonus Ball. 345 players matched five main numbers without the Bonus Ball and won £2,531 as a result. Over 480,000 other players won either £85 or £10 for matching four or three main numbers, respectively.
Now players who didn’t win a major prize in either of these games last Friday and Saturday will be hoping for better luck this week. Buy lottery tickets online and you just might land a EuroMillions jackpot prize of £86 million this Tuesday or a Lotto jackpot prize of £6.6 million on Wednesday. Good luck!
