Two Double Rollover Jackpot Winners
There was a double rollover jackpot up for grabs in the midweek Lotto game last night, and we are pleased to report that there will be double celebrations as well because two tickets succeeded in matching all six main numbers. The Lotto results for Wednesday 7 November were 14, 19, 35, 36, 40 and 45, and the Bonus Ball number was 48. The jackpot had a final value of £9,324,240, so each of the winners will now be £4,662,120 richer than they were beforehand, and that could fund some serious Christmas shopping!
Whilst the jackpot winners obviously had the most to celebrate last night, another 289,325 tickets won consolation prizes. The biggest consolation prize was worth £991,693 and that went to a single ticket which matched five of the main numbers as well as the Bonus Ball number. 239 tickets won £2,593 each by matching five main numbers only, and the remaining winning tickets matched four or three main numbers to win £98 or £10 each. The next Lotto jackpot this Saturday 10 November will be worth around £4 million.
The double rollover Lotto game was a fantastic event, but we now have an even bigger game to look forward to, and we are of course referring to the EuroMillions game this Friday. Eleven consecutive rollovers have helped to create a jackpot that is estimated to be worth around £121 million, and the only thing that stands between you and that cash is the ability to match five main numbers and two Lucky Star numbers.
Any combination of numbers has exactly the same chance of being drawn as any other combination, so you won’t do yourself any harm at all by relying on luck, statistics or your own intuition when making your selections. One thing that you can do to increase your overall chances of winning is purchase more tickets for the game. Every ticket has a 1 in 13 chance of winning any EuroMillions prize at all, and if you buy several tickets it would be perfectly possible to win several prizes!
However you choose to approach the big £121 million EuroMillions game this Friday, buy your tickets online early to avoid the inevitable last-minute stampede and good luck!
