Two Bank Holiday Rollover Jackpots
We are fast approaching a Bank Holiday weekend, when many people across the country will either be putting their feet up or attending to chores that never seem to get done at any other time. Either way, Bank Holidays are something that most Brits tend to look forward to, and for that reason it is particularly good to be able to highlight the fact that there will be two big lottery rollover jackpots to play for. The EuroMillions jackpot this Friday 2 May will be worth an estimated £72 million, and then on Saturday 3 May the Lotto game will offer a rollover jackpot worth around £6.1 million.
The Lotto results for the midweek game on Wednesday 30 April were 09, 25, 34, 37, 44 and 45, and the number 06 was drawn as the Bonus Ball. No player matched all six main numbers to win the £2.5 million jackpot (hence the rollover jackpot this Saturday) but four players succeeded in matching five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to land a second tier prize worth £51,434 each.
There were 88 tickets that matched five main numbers without the Bonus Ball to win a third tier prize with a value of £1,985 each, and 6,070 tickets won £152 each by matching four main numbers. The smallest possible Lotto prize of £25 went to each of 122,064 tickets that matched three main numbers, and the Lotto Raffle game made an additional 50 players richer to the tune of £20,000 each. As the main Lotto jackpot rolled over last night, there will be 100 Lotto Raffle prizes to play for in the next game this Saturday.
Followers of our Lottery Statistics will no doubt be keen to see if any of the most overdue numbers show up in the draws that are scheduled to take place over the next couple of days. The most overdue main numbers for the EuroMillions game are 09, 48, 02, 17 and 32, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 06 and 05. In the Lotto game, the most overdue numbers right now are 15, 24, 30, 02, 46 and 19.
With the Bank Holiday fun likely to be at the forefront of things this weekend, players are being advised to buy their tickets early so that they don't forget to do so and potentially miss out on winning a fortune.
