Tuesday EuroMillions Results
Updated: Wednesday 27th August 2014
The first EuroMillions game of the week boasted a rollover jackpot with a final value of just under £17 million, but no player matched all seven of the numbers drawn and so the jackpot rolled over for the second time in a row. The EuroMillions results for Tuesday 26 August were 10, 22, 36, 45 and 48, with the numbers 04 and 11 appearing as the Lucky Stars, and the next game – which just happens to be the last of the month – will now offer a double rollover jackpot with an estimated value of £24 million.
There were six tickets that matched all five main numbers and one of the Lucky Stars to win a second tier prize worth £115,285 each, and we are pleased to report that three of those tickets had been purchased right here in the UK. Another three tickets matched five main numbers only, but all of those had been purchased abroad, giving their owners a prize of €105,541 each.
At the lower tiers, more than 1.38 million tickets won smaller consolation prizes by matching fewer main numbers, with or without one or both of the Lucky Stars. The most successful of those tickets were the 30 that matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars to land a fourth tier prize worth £3,842 each. The total amount of cash won by UK tickets was £2,133,587, and a completely separate prize of £1,000,000 was won by the ticket matching the Millionaire Raffle number MRH531124.
We look forward to seeing how players fare in the next EuroMillions game this Friday 29 August, but in the meantime there is a home-grown jackpot of around £2.1 million to play for in the midweek Lotto game this evening. For those of you who enjoy following our Lottery Statistics, the most overdue Lotto numbers right now are 32, 44, 31, 48, 39 and 19, and the most common numbers are 23, 40, 44, 38, 25 and 11.
