Tuesday EuroMillions Jackpot Rolls
The EuroMillions game offered a double rollover jackpot worth over £27 million on Tuesday 25 September, but unfortunately there was no ticket that could match all five main numbers as well as both Lucky Stars. Ordinarily that would mean a triple rollover jackpot to play for this Friday, but as luck would have it there is already something even bigger to look forward to, and that is a guaranteed jackpot of €100 million. If any player in the UK wins that jackpot outright, it would allow them to put an extra £80 million or so in the bank, so buying a few tickets could pay off very handsomely indeed!
As always, there were still plenty of prize winners in the EuroMillions game last night (1,834,961 of them, to be precise), so if you haven’t yet checked your midweek entries you might want to do so now. The main numbers drawn were 07, 25, 27, 48 and 49, and the Lucky Star numbers were 01 and 04. One ticket matched all five main numbers and one of the Lucky Stars to win a second-tier prize worth £821,669, and we are delighted to report that it was bought right here in the UK.
12 tickets matched five main numbers only to win a third-tier prize of £22,824 each, and another 26 tickets won £5,267 each by matching four main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars. All of the other winning tickets in the main game won prizes of up to £174 each by matching fewer numbers. Of course, one other ticket purchased in the UK managed to win a prize of £1,000,000 by matching the Millionaire Raffle number, which was YKL907199.
Anyone who landed one of the bigger prizes on Tuesday has got plenty to celebrate, but we are pretty confident that the biggest EuroMillions celebrations of the week will come after the €100 million jackpot game this Friday. Having said that, the midweek Lotto game tonight (Wednesday 26 September) is offering a triple rollover jackpot that is estimated to be worth around £14.3 million, so someone reading this news item could be that much richer by this time tomorrow.
