Tuesday EuroMillions Jackpot Rolls
Updated: Tuesday 22nd April 2014
The Tuesday EuroMillions jackpot of £12.36 million rolled over after no player succeeded in matching all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars. The main numbers drawn on Tuesday 17 April were 10, 28, 33, 48 and 49, and the Lucky Stars were 01 and 10. As if missing out on a jackpot win wasn’t bad enough, there were no second- or third-tier consolation prize winners in the UK either, although players in other countries fared a bit better at those levels. Brits will now be hoping to land a winning comeback this Friday, when the jackpot will be worth around £21 million.
Although it wasn’t purchased in the UK, there was one winning ticket at the second-tier prize level and that won a hefty €945,978. Five non-UK tickets matched five main numbers only to win a prize of €63,065 each. Brits came into the equation at the fourth-tier prize level, where 25 tickets (7 of which were purchased in the UK) won £4,337 each after matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars. 540 tickets matched four main numbers and one Lucky Star to win £175 each and the total number of EuroMillions prizes won on Tuesday was 1,414,469. In the UK one EuroMillions ticket won a prize worth £1,000,000 by matching the Millionaire Raffle number TKY310787.
EuroMillions players in the UK can now give themselves a chance of winning a jackpot of £21 million this Friday 20 April, but first there is a £2.2 million jackpot up for grabs in the midweek Lotto game this evening (Wednesday 18 April). Players who also like to get involved in the Irish Lotto game from time to time might want to do so this week because the jackpot for the midweek game (also this evening) will be worth around €4.5 million.
