EuroMillions Double Rollover Jackpot
Lottery players who harbour ambitions of winning an extortionate amount of money before the arrival of Christmas will definitely want to participate in the EuroMillions game this Tuesday 10 December. For the second draw running, no player was able to match all seven of the numbers drawn on Friday, so the next game will offer a double rollover jackpot with an estimated value of £26 million. Win that amount and you could spend £1 million each and every day for the rest of the month and still have around £5 million left over for 2014!
The EuroMillions results on Friday 6 December were 01, 02, 18, 31 and 36, and the Lucky Star numbers were 07 and 10. Regular readers may recall that we highlighted the main number 01 as being one of the most overdue to make an appearance, and although it didn’t help anyone to win the jackpot of Friday, it did help quite a few players to win a consolation prize of some kind.
Two tickets purchased outside the UK matched all five main numbers and one Lucky Star number to win a prize worth €741,485 each, and another five tickets matched the five main numbers only to win £68,541 each. The total number of prizes won on Friday night was 2,166,924, and the total value of the prizes won by players in the UK was £2,895,765. The Millionaire Raffle number on Friday was VNW159747, and the owner of the ticket bearing the same is now £1 million richer than he or she was previously.
In the Lotto game on Saturday 7 December the results were 10, 12, 17, 28, 30 and 42, and the Bonus Ball was 25. Two tickets matched all six main numbers to share a jackpot worth £3,517,994, which means that the players involved now have £1,758,997 each to help them with their Christmas shopping. There were seven tickets that won a second tier prize of £40,114 each by matching five main numbers as well as the Bonus Ball number, and 367,348 tickets won smaller prizes. In addition, the Lotto Raffle game created 50 brand new winners of £20,000 each.
The Health Lottery results on Saturday were 03, 07, 25, 34 and 46, and the Bonus Ball number was 02. There were two tickets that won a top prize of £100,000 each by matching all five of the main numbers, and over 125,000 players picked up a consolation prize of some kind.
