Tuesday EuroMillions Coming Soon

Tuesday EuroMillions Coming Soon

Tuesday EuroMillions draws are coming soon, with the first ever Tuesday draw scheduled to take place on 10 May, 2011. A Mega Jackpot of around £85 million will be up for grabs to mark the launch of the new Tuesday draw and tickets will be available from Saturday 7 May. All of this will give EuroMillions players two weekly chances of winning a life-changing sum of money, but that is just part of the news that has been announced, because the game itself will also undergo some changes…

The first change to the EuroMillions game will be an increase in the number of Lucky Stars that are involved. This will lengthen the odds of winning the jackpot, and will – in all probability – result in more rollovers and bigger jackpots. If the recent jackpot of £121 million got you excited then the chances are that you will love the new rule change which makes such multi-rollovers more likely.

Of course, there is more to EuroMillions to winning jackpots, so another rule change will add an extra prize tier to the existing schedule. This 13th prize tier will pay a cash prize to players who match just two main numbers (the current minimum is two main numbers plus a Lucky Star number or one main number and two Lucky Star numbers) so the odds of winning any prize at all will go from 1 in 24 to 1 in 13.

Put both rule changes together and what you can look forward to is a revitalized EuroMillions game which rolls over more often to generate bigger jackpots, but which also gives you a much better chance of winning a non-jackpot prize. The addition of a Tuesday draw also means that you won’t have to wait a whole week for your next chance if a big win eludes you, but can instead have another go just a few days later.

With the first ever Tuesday EuroMillions game offering a Mega Jackpot of £85 million, it is almost certain to be a huge success from day one. We look forward to reminding you about that draw in a few weeks, but in the meantime there is a regular EuroMillions jackpot of £13 million to play for this Friday 1 April, so click here to buy your lottery tickets and good luck!
