Three Wednesday Lotto Winners
The Lotto jackpot of £2,197,343 on Wednesday 28 April was won by three tickets, giving each winner an equal share worth £732,478. The lottery results were 05, 11, 19, 23, 38 and 46, and the Bonus Ball was 34. There were five jackpot winners in the previous Lotto draw, so the last two Lotto games have create a total of eight jackpot winners, each of them taking home a huge six-figure cash prize. Now the next big lottery game that we have to look forward to is EuroMillions, which has a triple rollover jackpot of £51 million up for grabs this Friday 30 April.
The midweek Lotto draw wasn’t only good news for the jackpot winners. 17 players matched five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win £39,772 each. That sum isn’t enough to retire on by any means, but it will definitely have a noticeable impact on the lives of those who were lucky enough to win it. Another 615 players matched five of the main numbers but no Bonus Ball and won £687 each.
Looking to the next Lotto draw this Saturday 1 May, the jackpot will be worth around £4.5 million. The most overdue Lotto numbers according to our lottery statistics page are 39, 22, 17, 7, 25 and 26, so whether any of those will make an appearance and help someone to land the next Lotto jackpot is something that we will be watching with interest.
Our lottery statistics page rightly focuses on the Lotto game, but for those readers who are looking forward to playing the EuroMillions game this Friday – and maybe winning a £51 million jackpot – we can also tell you that the most overdue EuroMillions numbers right now are 48, 02, 06, 47 and 15, with the numbers 01 and 07 being the most overdue Lucky Star numbers. Don’t forget that you need to match all seven numbers to win the jackpot outright (or a share thereof if there are multiple winners).
Will you be a millionaire lottery winner by the time May Day comes around on Monday 3 May? The only way to find out is to buy lottery tickets online, keep your fingers crossed and check your results after the draws have taken place. Enjoy the excitement of taking part and good luck!Thursday 29th April 2010
