Three Share Wednesday Lotto Jackpot
Updated: Tuesday 22nd April 2014
There were three jackpot winners in the midweek UK Lotto game on Wednesday 7 March, but no winner of the Irish Lotto jackpot. The UK Lotto results were 02, 08, 11, 28, 35 and 44, and the Bonus Ball was 17. The jackpot had a final value of £1,954,314, which was slightly less than the estimated £2.2 million, so the three winning tickets are now worth £651,438 each. That might not be as much as the winning players were expecting after beating odds of 1 in 13.9 million, but it’s certainly enough to change their lives in a very big way and we offer our congratulations to them all.
27 tickets matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win £22,271 each, and 456 tickets won £824 each by matching five main numbers only. Another 376,519 tickets won either £37 or £10 each after matching four or three main numbers. Because the UK Lotto jackpot was won on Wednesday, the jackpot for the next game this Saturday 10 March has been reset and is estimated to be worth around £4.2 million.
The Irish Lotto results were 01, 02, 18, 30, 34 and 36, and the Bonus Ball was 05. As we said earlier, there were no jackpot winners in this game, and there weren’t any second-tier prizewinners either. However, 26 tickets did manage to win a third-tier prize of €2,369 each by matching five main numbers only, and 34,496 tickets picked up smaller consolation prizes ranging from €5 to €156 by matching three main numbers or more. The Irish Lotto jackpot has rolled over to the next game this Saturday, when it is expected to be worth around €5.5 million.
Before we get to the next Lotto games this Saturday, there is a rollover jackpot of around £21 million to play for in the EuroMillions game on Friday 9 March. Buy lottery tickets online for all of these games and you’ll enjoy multiple chances of becoming a jackpot-winner by Sunday! Good luck!
