Three Midweek Lotto Winners
Three Lotto players were lucky enough to match all six main numbers drawn on Wednesday 24 February to share a jackpot prize worth £2,217,363. That makes each winning ticket worth £739,121, though of course it is still too early to know who the winners are. If you want to check to see if one of them might be you then we can tell you that the lottery results for the midweek draw were 03, 11, 18, 23, 38 and 49. The Bonus Ball was number 34, and if those numbers eluded you then the next big game to have a go at is EuroMillions this Friday, where the jackpot will be worth around £25 million.
Eight players matched five of the six main Lotto numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win a second tier prize of £85,283 each. Another 428 National Lottery players matched five main numbers only to win £996 each. 21,198 players matched four main numbers for a fourth tier prize of £44, and 371,360 won £10 each by matching three main numbers.
Because the midweek Lotto jackpot was won, the jackpot for the Lotto draw this Saturday 27 February will be worth around £4.6 million. Our Lottery Statistics page reveals that the most overdue numbers right now are 46, 41, 32, 35, 47 and 26. Of course, whether any of those numbers will help someone to win another jackpot prize this weekend is something that we won’t know until the draw takes place.
Before we get to the next Lotto draw on Saturday, we have the EuroMillions game to play on Friday 26 February. Nobody won the EuroMillions jackpot last week, so the rollover jackpot for this Friday will be worth around £25 million. UK players who buy a EuroMillions ticket also have a chance to win a £1,000,000 Millionaire Raffle prize, so it’s possible to become a millionaire even if the main EuroMillions jackpot eludes you.
Buy lottery tickets online now and at the very least you will have plenty of lottery excitement to look forward to this weekend. And maybe some of that excitement will translate into a life-changing jackpot win!Thursday 25th February 2010
