A tenth Euromillions rollover
Updated: Wednesday 23rd April 2014
It’s hard to believe but the UK and Europe saw a tenth Euromillions rollover last night as that jackpot continues to remain elusive to players. Ticket sales were high and the Euromillions jackpot reached £107 million, but no one could match those all-important winning numbers creating another rollover for Tuesday night. With the tenth rollover, Tuesday’s Euromillions jackpot is now an estimated £117 million, as the lottery jackpot has been taking giant jumps of about £10 million every draw is isn’t won!
At £117 million, the Euromillions jackpot exceeds the Mega draw rollover a few weeks ago, which reached £105 million, but it’s still not quite the biggest lottery prize of the year. Back in March, two players shared a £121 million Euromillions rollover jackpot, with each player collecting over £60 million. Of course if Tuesday’s jackpot goes to a single lottery player, it will smash the wins collected back in March.
We are of course assuming that Tuesday’s jackpot will be won. It seems the Euromillions Lottery is quite happy rolling along from draw to draw, so it’s quite possible we may see that jackpot grow even further yet. If you’re hoping to stop it rolling by matching all the winning numbers then make sure you have your Euromillions tickets for the tenth consecutive rollover on Tuesday evening. And after yesterday’s reported unclaimed winners, make sure you keep your tickets in a safe place and check them carefully after the draw!
