Ten Millionaire Maker Prizes on Offer to Celebrate GB Paralympians
Updated: Friday 2nd September 2016
UK EuroMillions players who missed out on £1 million and a trip to Brazil in the August edition of Mega Friday will have the opportunity to try their luck again as part of two special Millionaire Maker draws designed to celebrate Team GB’s Paralympic athletes as they head to Rio this week.
The EuroMillions draws on Friday 9th and Tuesday 13th September will offer a combined ten prizes of £1 million as well as a fantastic trip to Rio. The promotion will cap off an incredible few weeks for UK lottery players, who were rewarded for their support of British athletes with an incredible Lotto gold medal event on Saturday 27th August.
There will be 264 athletes representing Great Britain in 19 different sports at the Paralympics, from archery to wheelchair rugby. Expectations are high that the gold medal rush started at the Olympics in August can continue in September, with the nation’s Paralympic team also hoping to surpass the 34 golds they won at London 2012. The Games will be held from Wednesday 7th September to Sunday 18th September, and funding from the National Lottery has made it possible for athletes such as Dame Sarah Storey, Ellie Simmonds and Jody Cundy to train full time in pursuit of Paralympic glory.
You can still go for gold yourself by playing EuroMillions next week; in addition to the fantastic prizes offered in the main game, you’ll have ten extra chances to become a millionaire while you cheer on Team GB’s Paralympians. Good luck!Published: Friday 2nd September 2016
