Special Christmas Day Lotto Raffle
Christmas Day is always rather special, but this year it will be even more so for lottery players because the Lotto Raffle game will create ten times more winners than in a standard draw. As you will know by now, a regular Lotto Raffle game usually creates 50 winners of £20,000 each, but on Wednesday 25 December it will create 500 winners, which means you just might go to bed on Christmas night a whole lot richer than when you wake up on Christmas morning!
As usual, you will only have a chance of winning one of the special Lotto Raffle prizes if you buy yourself a ticket for the main Lotto game. The great thing about Christmas Day falling on a Wednesday this year is that you could buy lottery tickets as additional gifts for friends and family members, and then check your numbers together in the evening to see if any of you win big.
Midweek lottery games aren’t usually televised and at the time of writing we have no reason to believe that the situation will change on Christmas Day. The best way to check your festive numbers is therefore to visit our Lottery Results page and/or download one of our free lottery apps for your mobile phone. Apps are available for both Android phones and iPhones, and will deliver the results into the palm of your hand just as soon as they have been confirmed.
Those of you who want to get excited about the prospect of winning a massive pile of cash before Christmas arrives can of course buy tickets for the Christmas Eve EuroMillions game on Tuesday 24 December. Every EuroMillions ticket you buy will also give you a chance of winning £1 million in the Millionaire Raffle game.
Talking of EuroMillions, you can play for a triple rollover jackpot worth an estimated £36 million this Friday 13 December, so if you’re the kind of person who thinks that the number 13 can be lucky for some, head this way to buy your tickets and be sure to let us know if you hit the jackpot!
